The Community's Ladies' Committee was set up to raise money for the Church Fund, to help the elderly and the poor, visit patients in hospital and for many other philanthropic reasons. The Chairlady is currently Mrs. Eva Christou.
The Committee holds its annual Dinner and Dance during February/March and every year in January, it holds its annual Pensioners' Lunch.
Subscription to the Committee is just £10 p.a. and is usually payable at the Committee's annual tea & coffee morning, which is also held in January.
